Back in 2020, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) realized we need to start de-risking and scaling up technologies to produce intermediate forms of #criticalmaterials. And so, the former Advanced Manufacturing Office (now the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technologies Office) put out a call for pilot and demonstration productions to address this bottleneck in critical material #supplychains.
