Exciting news coming out of KSA this week as Aramco awarded contracts in excess of $25 BB to drive the country's gas expansion strategies with production increasing by almost two thirds. The further development of the Jafurah field (circa 230 TCF of raw gas plus condensates), integral to Aramco’s Master Gas System (MGS), is key to the expansion. Almost 80% of this investment will be in LSTK commercial format for pre-FID studies, FEED's, new gas compression, pipelines, gas processing trains, storage, new export facilities and existing MGS expansion. The remaining 20% will be for new and revised gas drilling rig contracts. A huge and challenging series of gas development projects that will fully exploit the KSA ICV incentives and create added value for Aramco and subsidiaries for many years to come.

Exciting Developments in the Kuwait Oil Industry! The Mutlaa fuel depot project, valued at approximately $850 million, is gaining momentum. According to MEED Magazine, seven companies, including global players like Sinopec (China), Miel and Larsen & Toubro (India), Hesco (Kuwait), and Petrofac (Britain), have acquired tender documents. Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) extended the bidding deadline to April 30, providing more opportunities for contractors to join the process. The scope of work for the project includes developing new pumping facilities at the two oil refining stations in the ports of Ahmadi and Shuaiba, extending pipelines from the stations of the two ports, establishing a warehouse for the local market, installing safety systems, installing fire-fighting systems, and building storage tanks. 📢 The oil and gas giant Saipem has bagged $7billion worth of contracts this month! #Saipem, the Italian energy engineering company, has secured four major contracts in September 2024, with projects in #SaudiArabia and #Qatar totaling around $7 billion. The deals include two offshore contracts in Saudi Arabia worth approximately $1 billion, awarded under Saipem's long-term agreement with aramco. These contracts focus on offshore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work for the development of Saudi oil and gas fields. Another contract also came from #aramco, worth around $2 billion with scope involves the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of topsides, jackets, flowlines and pipelines for Marjan Field.
