In response to the growing demand for smaller lot sizes, our client Sunbury Hills Pty Ltd requested additional lots within the Everley development. We accommodate such requests promptly due to our efficient systems and processes, however limitations arise when dealing with narrow nature strips that contain services, street trees, and vehicle crossovers. In such situations, Taylors offer solutions that maintain our desired outcomes without compromising the aforementioned. Here is an illustrative example: Initially, the pod layout featured four lots. Our client requested an extra lot, as shown in the middle image. However, strict requirements for pram crossings, vehicle crossovers, parking bays, and drainage pits made this impossible. Energy-efficiency is the main driver for this incredible build on Weggery Drive in Waikanae 🔋 --- Thanks to the fantastic team at Waterford Press Ltd and their Business Central Publication for sharing this brilliant story, we really enjoyed breaking down the all the intricate details that went into this truly collaborative project. Our operations manager Craig Wycherley, describes our involvement in bringing this significant high-performance home to life - here are a few snippets. "Performance is the main driver in the project. The aim is to deliver a very high end comfortable, spacious, and energy-efficient family home". “The project has involved a lot of experts and consultants including, for example, Healthy Homes Corporation, which has been involved from the design phase regarding performance and then what is required to achieve this." We worked alongside Nuspan Flooring Ltd to provide 24 i-House units combined with their pre-cast insulated floors for a development in King's Lynn, bringing together two innovative products which speed up build time through off-site manufacturing. The trial was conducted by Lovell Homes, to help make more informed decisions about adopting Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) moving forward. When housing is so desperately needed in the UK, we were pleased to work alongside Nuspan to bring this development to life, and happy to read their positive feedback on the successful trial.
