#day255: “some fees must pay one…” Was on lunch with an independent professional recently and really love this insight. He said he’ll usually advise clients to use one app over another (despite slight higher fees). “Some fees must pay one… because the money goes into the people, system upgrade and prompt customer support.” He then briefly shown me a WhatsApp history of him asking something urgently at 835am and gotten all answered by 836am. Another app… no reply nor even auto-reply confirming email received. He often felt doubtful if he sent to the wrong address or got blocked. Clients behaviour won’t lie. I’ve been to events by both companies. One is nice, another is spectacular. One packed the space, another flooded the building. Now, I’m not saying that we’ll always get great value for the big dollars we pay. I’ve been to high ticket one-off programs that provide no support. I’m in a high quality program and seeing great progress. Long term thinkers provide human support because they see it as essential. Short term thinkers provide human support because their system cannot handle. As we live in hyper connected era today, it’s essential to give our best for everyone we meet. Give our best resources for free because it doesn’t cost us a lot to share, while it meant a lot for the receiver. Give our best support as service because it can save time and effort for our clients while it continues to fund and enhance the work we care to do. Recently I needed to update my phone, which was a seamless experience with the exception of one messenger. I couldn't receive the call that one needs to activate the number. There was no opportunity to go through other activation processes - receive SMS, or scan QR, whatsoever. After 3 attempts to receive a call, the account was blocked for the next 12 hours. After the 3rd failed attempt, I approached support describing the issue and providing the screenshots. There were 4 basic/automatic answers from support: 1️⃣ Resending same initial instruction and FAQ 2️⃣ Recommendation to uninstall the app and follow the same instructions 3️⃣ Asking for screenshots 4️⃣ Asking for screencapture I made a 3-minute screen capture video, and edited it to send via email. After pressing sent I received an answer within 10 seconds with the recommendation to come back to point 2 - reinstall and go all over again. The thing is that the reply was sent immediately after I sent a letter with a screen capture. Which meant that the video I provided was not even reviewed. The 𝘭𝘦𝘵-𝘮𝘦-𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬-𝘵𝘰-𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳-𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳 mode activated immediately. But it also got me thinking, how often a client can feel unheard. In B2C, but also in B2B. I am advocating for the companies to be as open as possible to the feedback at every stage of communication with the client, moreover, companies should proactively ask for the feedback. At Erbis we keep it regular and very close – monthly or quarterly calls with the clients, with a prepared agenda but with a place to address any other concerns to ensure that any feedback has a place to be. RemOnline Chats: Initiate Conversations with Clients Everyone has eagerly awaited this feature since the Chats module was introduced in RemOnline. We're thrilled to announce that you can now initiate chats with clients via Viber, WhatsApp, or SMS by Twilio channels! It means that once these channels are connected, you no longer have to wait for clients to message you first. With just a few clicks, you can start a conversation by selecting the available channel and client and sending the first message. Upcoming Updates Some of the future plans for the Chats module include: • Chats in Client Profiles: View all existing chats and start a new one from the Communication tab in the client's profile. • Chats in Work Orders: Open an existing chat or start a new one from the Work Orders section or within a specific work order or estimate. • Sending Images and Files in Chats.
