Thanks to Steve Cassell for leading the largest Team Jake Cassell ever for this year’s B2B. Team Ballard is so very proud to partner with them again. Confident we will soon surpass our $100,000 goal.
Team Jake Cassell and Team Ballard had a fun, successful, and insanely hot Bike to the Beach experience last Friday as we pedaled 75 and 55 miles respectively from central Maryland (Centreville and Denton) to Dewey Beach, Delaware. While air temps were measuring in the high 90's, the asphalt-assisted road temps reached 110-120 during the second half of our ride. I personally was seeing stars there for a spell while I tried to keep down the 17 gallons of water I drank along the way...... Anyway, we made it, and our team had a wonderful time talking, laughing and bonding. I want to thank Roger Winston and Team Ballard for their continued friendship and support of The Jake Cassell Fund. I also want to thank Kennedy Wilson, John Moriarty and Associates, Terra Nova Title, EagleBank and Cushman and Wakefield for their sponsorships of our team. Sincere thanks to my friends on Team Jake Cassell for being awesome brothers and sisters in our endeavor. Finally, I want to again thank everyone who has contributed to our fundraiser. We are just a few thousand dollars short of our goal to raise $100,000 for special needs children and young adults in underserved and impoverished communities. It's not too late to give.
