First MIPIM 🇫🇷 Being quite a reflective individual and the fact I don’t drink alcohol, means I’m fully aware and pretty sharp most of the time. I remember most conversations… While it’s certainly worth attending, my mind is already navigating ways to improve next years experience. 1) Navy suit 🚮 - cheers Mark Hawthorn. 2) Be less rigid with the calendar - I’m obsessed with timings. However, Cannes feels more relaxed than London, and it is. 3) You’re not closing deals at Cafe Roma. You’re building on existing and forming new relationships. 4) Don’t book loads of meetings on Friday. The majority of people have been consuming a lot of alcohol during the week, so by Friday, the pain is kicking in. 5) Have a game plan. Don’t just book an untold amount of meetings because you’re feeling keen at the time like I did. Do you need 4/5 members of staff at the same event? Probably not. Spread your time wisely with company representatives. 6) Comfortable shoes or trainers. Don’t become walking wounded for a designer label. 7) Fly out Mon / Tue and fly back midday Friday (if possible). 8) Whilst I prefer Ubers purely for convenience, give yourself a decent buffer to get down into Cannes. I missed a round table breakfast due to having to wait 28 minutes for an Uber. 9) Enjoy yourself! ☀️ Anything to add? #mipim2024

Throughout the 3 days we spent together, we engaged in different activities, from productive work to team-building activities, including a bowling night and a delicious hot pot dinner. We also had time to celebrate a couple of birthdays! 🎳🎉 But we didn't stop there - we also dedicated time to a valuable workshop on time management and workload balance, ensuring that we optimize our productivity while maintaining a healthy workload culture.🚀 Reflecting on the amazing week we've just had, it's clear: we've built something truly special here at IVICUO.
