CBCT (Core Balance Current Transformer) connection and amour cables: www.forumelectrical.com www.automationforum.co www.forumautomation.com In many cases, the armored part of a cable should not pass through the core of a Core Balance Current Transformer (CBCT) if the relay wants to effectively detect earth faults. The armor of the cable can interfere with the CBCT's ability to accurately measure the residual current, especially if the armor is grounded. #instrumentation #instrumentationandcontrol #controlengineering #engineering #engineer #plcprogramming #plc #plcprogramming #plcladderlogic #plcprogrammer #plctraining #plcsystem #plcs #plcsiemens #plcsystemforflourmillline #plcnext #scada #engineers #automation #industrialautomation #instrumentengineer #instrumenttechnician #processengineering #processautomation #industrialengineering #engineering #industrialengineering #processinstrumentation #electrical #electricalengineering #electricalengineer #electricalengineers #electric #electricaltesting #electricaltechnician #engineering #engineers #engineer #engineeringstudent #electricalmaintenance #electricaldistribution #electricalengineerjobs #electricalengineerjobs #Voltage #current #electrician #electricalsafety #electricalinstallation #electricalcontractors #Earthfault #protection #cbct #armored #grounding #Earthfault #protection #cbct #armored #grounding
