Just starting Meta ads? Watch this… Here’s how you do your Meta ad campaign if you are just starting out. #1 Make a list of other businesses in your industry that are advertising on Meta and Instagram. #2 Go to Meta Ad Library and find those businesses' ads. #3 Look at their ads and see what catches people's attention (hooks), what they say (body), and what they want people to do (call-to-action). #4 Also, look for things that are missing in their ads, OR how you can improve them. Its could be using better images, videos or ad copies, or a better offer. #5 Now make your ads. But when you are doing this, you make better ads than your competition, or add things that are missing. #6 This will help your ads stand out from the competition and get better results. #7. Monitor, analyze, and optimise your ad and campaign. Write in the comment did you find this video helpful. Perfection fatigue is real 🥱 and Meta now officially recommends advertisers make 'lo-fi' ads: "A recent study found a strong correlation between unpolished video and greater creative impact: Across four different verticals – technology, retail, restaurants and e-commerce – campaigns with lower production value video drove a significantly higher lift in ad recall compared with high-production campaigns." Since everyone responds to creatives differently, creative diversity is the key to unlocking the full potential of social ad campaigns. Focus on these four asset types and your campaigns will win: 1) Lo-Fi statics 2) Lo-Fi videos 3) High production statics 4) High production videos --- If you need help finding your best-performing ads, get in touch wearebumbl.co.uk

Update: 50 brands have now benefited from using our ads grader tool and self-diagnose issues in their ad accounts. For a vast majority of them the top three realisations are 1. They're concentrated on a few creatives for their ad performance 2. They aren't utilising all formats on Meta as much as their competitors are 3. They have a massive opportunity in improving their funnel on their website Some of these are obvious insights with not-so-obvious fixes, however for some brands (~10%) our report revealed something far more scary, Over 50% of their ROAS was being attributed on 1-day view attribution window! This essentially means, that the end customer never clicked on the Meta ad but purchased the product within 1 day of ad impressions. You’ll be surprised on how Meta counts impressions (E.g. for video ads, the video need not play to count an impression!) It really hurts to see that some bootstrapped brands have bled thousands of dollars on ads that aren't meaningfully adding to their top line. Use our ads grader tool today to find out if you have this issue. (Comment / DM me for link)

Ready to see your Meta ads fail? Here's why they might: 1. Target everyone 2. Post ads randomly 3. Skip the call-to-action, Keep viewers guessing 4. Forget about tracking results and analyzing ad performance 5. Don't respond to comments, Engagement isn’t key 6. Use only image ads, don't test anything 7. Talk only about your brand, Nothing else 8. Keep showing the same ad, Don't change it 9. Don't show reviews or happy customer stories 10. Don't guide people after they click your ad 11. Don't bother with ad optimization 12 .Make your landing page irrelevant If you do these things, your ads might fail and you'll lose money. 📉

Are your Meta ad campaigns fatigued? 😴 It’s definitely a challenging time to navigate the meta platform, from algorithm changes to increased ad costs and privacy updates. Here are the 9 exact strategies we use to not only survive but thrive amid these changes. 1 - High Volume Creative Testing (Find out what ads competitors are running, make a swipe file in (http://foreplay.co/) and analyse every aspect, where can you improve, what areas are they not covering in their creative etc), then develop high quality creative pipelines to allow for high volume testing of ad creative in Meta. 2 - Go granular, test your ad copy, headlines, CTAs - small changes can make for big results. 3 - Don’t go too narrow on your retargeting audiences, frequency will shoot up and creatives will fatigue much faster. If you are going to use narrow retargeting audiences, make sure you have the creative pipeline to back it up. 4 - Learn to re-purpose content effectively, don’t reinvent the wheel for every new piece of creative, change the hook, CTA, edit style, captions etc to further test existing creative/ this helps maximise usage of existing creative, increasing overall ROI on creative investment and reducing pipeline load. don’t make a new piece of UGC every time, we use one piece of UGC often 5-10 different ways. 5 - Stack ASC with a high volume of creative, 10-20 minimum, for larger spends 20-30. these should be winners, don’t put unproven creatives here. 6 - Have an always on testing approach, we always have a background sandbox campaign running to maximise creative testing so we’re always finding new winning creatives to cycle into scaling campaigns. use ABO to test (we often use broad or Advantage + audiences, or previous best performing audiences if broad enough).
