The bank has to change its system so as not to inconvenience its customers. This happened to me today. For the past days, my mobile messages showed several transactions being made and that I should click "the link" to contact the bank if I didn't make those payments. I ignored the link but I went to check my accounts. Initially I couldn't see the transactions. Days later, I noticed my accounts don't tally so I went into the transaction records and noticed activities - money taken out and money returned back the following day, into my unused Debit account. Each transaction, it returned me the money, it took an amount of RM 4.11 difference. Not noticeable or a lot unless it happens lot of times. I called the bank. First thing they want to do, is to block all my accounts - my online, my so-called Debit card and my ATM card, be it for business or private. I'm fuming. I said, I haven't withdrawn any cash to spend for this month. They told me that's the procedure. I also have to get a replacement card, reset my ATM and reset my online after that. I asked if I could get back the losses, and they said no. I said, why don't you just block the suspicious transactions and their owners? Why not tell all banks to block them and if they are genuine - get them to be the one doing all the resetting? They said they don't have the authority. Nuts.

Dear Axis Bank , I had cash deposited in a non-home branch for the month of February 2024. The amount was 28k INR. I was not aware of that my limit was 25,000 INR When I had deposited the amount, the cashier did not inform me that the bank would charge for the additional 3,000 INR. The bank charges 177 RS for this transaction. Your software is working properly ? or Your cashier skips the information to benefit the bank ? Which one is true? Is it possible to remember all the bank guidelines for a customer? If so, why do banks use software?
