As a card carrying Millennial who likes to riff on business ideas, I’ve referenced the South Park Underpants Gnomes more than I should. Tldr: Phase 1 - Collect underpants Phase 2 - ? Phase 3 - Profit My (over) usage is because many of the businesses I’ve thought up, and some that I’ve actually tried to develop, have glaring gaps. There’s a missing step, a leap of faith to nowhere, etc. I see this gap in credit unions’ financial wellness content. Credit unions aren’t tightly tying their products with the financial resources they’re providing. If someone in your community is using your credit card payoff calculator and isn’t shown exactly how your credit card can save them money based on the inputs they’ve entered, you’re doing yourself and them a disservice. Credit unions - Audit your financial wellness content and link to the relevant products you already have. That’s your phase 2! #creditcards #creditunions #financialeducation
