Staking Summit 2024: Key Insights I recently attended the #StakingSummit in Bangkok, and the atmosphere was electric. Staking has a powerful future ahead. Here are my key takeaways: ▪️ Vitalik Buterin emphasized once again that Proof-of-Stake remains an effective method for many networks. ▪️ I noted that nearly 90% of the exhibitions and booths were validators, staking infrastructure providers, auditors, and more. It was great to see projects like Lido, Rocket Pool, and Symbiotic, among many others thriving in this space! ▪️ Staking and re-staking solutions are on the rise. For instance, one of the exhibitors showcased a marketplace allowing tasks to connect new node operators or find delegators – showing just how advanced staking has become. ▪️ Interoperability was the hottest topic. I agree with the emphasis, as this narrative will drive the market forward. Interoperability between L1 and L2, EVM and non-EVM networks, and various blockchains will create a seamless and user-friendly experience, allowing liquidity to flow instantly where it is needed and creating optimal market conditions. All this leads to another conclusion: technologies like AggLayer, where Haust Network is deployed, are becoming increasingly in demand. Soon, we’ll see more bridges, networks, and solutions that facilitate transactions between currently incompatible blockchains. One of the most exciting things about our business are the many inspiring conversations I get to have with innovators, futurists, and thought leaders. Recently, I had the privilege of sitting down with leading tech personality and public cloud evangelist, Danielle Rios on her podcast Telco in 20. Our conversation took me back to the early days of 5G, when we first envisioned the transformative impact it could have on our customers' lives. Fast forward to today, and Singtel is leveraging our 5G Standalone network to unlock new services and revenue streams, from immersive experiences to intelligent solutions. I shared with Danielle our approach to collaboration, including our involvement in the global Telco AI Alliance, where we're developing a tailored large language model that will revolutionise customer interactions.
