What to say to an international group of 150 new leaders? 1. Take a mental picture now to remind yourself of this first day of your leadership career. 2. Decide what kind of leader you wish to be and find good senior leaders to follow. 3. Be humble and listen. Learn every day and be mindful of your own development. 4. This is a tough job so ensure to have someone who praises you and helps you. 5. Remember breaks for yourself to recharge your batteries.
