VCC - Clamp lock: The VCC is a safety product. Associed with its dedicated clamp lock #detector, it is a locking and switch monitoring device. It is the solution for conventional lines, high and very high speed lines, heavy-haul networks and for urban #transport. The VCC is used in #pairs and assembled on the #turnout first bearer. VCCs replace two slide chairs, thus forming an integral part with the switch rail and the stock rail. This special configuration provides the locking function, offers greater control of switch rail drive and permits mechanical tamping operations between bearers. Failure of any one spring, cable, drive chain, drive gear, or internal gearbox must be protected such that, at the point of the failure, either the door has a resulting static weight of 20kg or less, or the door will not fall back more than 300mm, and be prevented from further use. Some door designs do not need safety devices to achieve this. In the case of automatically operating doors, it is acceptable for the door to close at normal speed and under full control and then be prevented from further use by use of fault sensing systems. Introducing the SLC door interlock switch from BERNSTEIN AG. Ensure the safe operation of doors and gates around your high-risk industrial processes.   With four slow-action contacts, you'll always be able to tell; is my door closed or open?
