Period education is seriously lacking. A new study by Dr. Sally King (Founder of Menstrual Matters) exposes a HUGE gap in menstrual health education: 🚫 Many believe periods are for 'cleaning the womb' or preparing for pregnancy (both false) 📚 Textbooks often focus on hormones alone, missing other key components of menstruation (like, erm, feelings?) ⛔ The lack of knowledge contributes to misinformation and misunderstanding of menstrual issues like endometriosis and PCOS The truth? Having an accurate menstruation education matters: 🔍 Understanding natural processes helps menstruators to manage their health 🩺 Accurate info helps to distinguish normal changes from underlying conditions 🤝 Dispelling myths fights gender stereotypes and helps improve communication with healthcare providers By investing in comprehensive menstrual health education, we are improving healthcare outcomes for all menstruators.

"People come to childbirth education classes for evidence-based facts, not opinion. While separating fact from opinion may sound simple, it is often much more complicated. Join Jana McCarthy to explore both facts and opinions to see if there is a place for both in a prenatal class. Attendees will take a look at common biases and learn how those biases may affect the classroom. Additionally, attendees will walk away with methods that will help them share facts (and maybe even opinions) through meaningful storytelling." Enroll Now: https://ow.ly/9VnW50QVSmC
