Hi All, the expert panel advice on monkeypox was published. The experts were asked to respond to the following questions: - Should monkeypox virus be considered, today, as a transmissible agent that causes a life-threatening disease with a high or suspected high risk of propagation? - Should monkeypox virus be considered a sexually transmitted agent, i.e. that its main mode of transmission is sexual? - Can it be considered that there is a significant risk that a false negative result of a monkeypox detection device would cause death or severe disability to the individual, foetus or embryo being tested, or to the individual's offspring? You will find the answers to these questions and the relevant rationale at: https://lnkd.in/dzfRRaDt
