I am incredibly grateful for the feature by Eva Xiang in Singapore's largest Chinese newspaper, Lianhe Zaobao 联合早报, which highlights my journey with Jump Mentors. Reflecting on the past 9 months since the start of 2024, it’s been a whirlwind of personal and professional growth: 1. Launching Jump Mentors: Building this from the ground up has been both exhilarating and challenging. As a solopreneur, the journey can sometimes feel incredibly lonely. Every step, from defining our mission to developing the marketing strategy and optimising digital ads, has been a significant learning opportunity. 2. Embarking on Coaching Training: Alongside launching Jump Mentors, I also began a coaching program with Collective Change Institute (CCI). This has been transformative for my growth, giving me a new perspective on relationships and realising that everyone faces unique challenges and insecurities. We often don’t give ourselves and others enough credit for the progress made in tackling these obstacles. 3. Navigating Pregnancy: What made this period even more challenging was that I also got pregnant. Balancing the demands of starting a business with the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy has been a complex juggling act. New concerns emerged: How do I stay productive while being off caffeine and tackling pregnancy fatigue? Am I perceived as less committed to my business because I’m also navigating pregnancy? What Helped Me: 1. Tapping into the Entrepreneurial Community: Connecting with entrepreneurs through the Asia Startup Network and the Singapore Business Federation IDEAS program for women entrepreneurs has been invaluable. Hearing stories of others who have faced similar challenges provided not only practical advice but also a sense of solidarity. 2. Leveraging Support from Friends and Family: In addition to the mentorship from the entrepreneurial community, the encouragement from friends and family has been crucial. Their reassurance and readiness to offer their expertise have been invaluable, helping me to stay focused and resilient through the ups and downs of this journey. 3. Learning to Be Kind to Myself: Perhaps this has been one of the most important lessons. Entrepreneurship and pregnancy both come with their own sets of pressures, and it’s easy to be overly critical. Embracing self-compassion has been a game-changer for me. Recognizing that it’s okay to have off days, to ask for help, and to prioritise well-being has made the journey more manageable and fulfilling. As I look back on these past months, I realised also that my resilience and adaptability have helped me to navigate these intersecting paths. Moving forward, I’m excited about the future of Jump Mentors and the continued journey of both personal and professional development. Thank you again to ZaoBao for featuring my story and to everyone who has supported me along the way. Here’s to embracing the challenges and celebrating the victories, big and small!

We're doing something exciting... 😁 This Thursday I'll be joining GrowthMentor's panel "The Startup's Guide to Team Training" as a panelist together with Janel Loi and Dan Huru. Whether you're onboarding new employees, delegating tasks, or enhancing your team's skills, effective training is crucial for building an outstanding team and retaining top talent. 🚀 However, for startups, particularly in the early stages, it's easy for training to fall by the wayside when you're juggling numerous responsibilities. So here's what we'll dive into: 💡 Tactics for producing SOP's, workflow explainers, and training modules without the frustration 💡 Which tools, frameworks and services can save you time without a ton of spend 💡 How to build a curious, learning-driven culture in your company 💡 Ways to automate repetitive tasks to free up your team’s time The good thing? It's open to everyone! Who will I see there? 😃 You can sign up here 👉 https://lnkd.in/dsT6e4Mg

This year, I invested $10,000 in mentorship. (no regrets) The learning and experiences have been incredible. The result? → Building a SaaS business → Helping other startup SaaS founders → Growing my personal brand on LinkedIn → Mastering marketing, growth, & sales strategies → Building strong network & making genuine friends → Achieving financial freedom through online income It all started with one key decision. Sometimes, to feel the true triumph of victory, you need to have your own skin in the game. Free resources are fantastic, but they often provide just the basics. That's why I invested in mentorship. Best way to learn quicker and grow faster. Here's your chance to learn from my: ↳ Journey ↳ Mistakes ↳ Challenges ↳ Experiences So, my friends, are you ready to go all in? Let's build your entrepreneurial potential together!

Curiosity to Confidence: My journey of growth and learning 🚀 Summer 2024, I put myself into things which i always wanted to learn about how do people negotiate on prices?, is it simple or may be opposite of it, also how customers react and understand what service a company is providing. Day by day, when i worked in an startup it opened my eyes that market is tough and easy both, on the basis of our view about it. Communication was my primary tool to interact with people and understand their objective. It helped me to settle B2B prices which seemed to benefit at an extra to me and the startup. It also helped me to solve customer issues and this lead to build customer trust. So i made communication a major priority, i tried to improve it everyday.✅️ With time, Presentations, Extra-curricular activities(Leading groups). I have seen the confidence develop in me after focusing on communication. This year i will bring more improvement in my communication skills and also try to add more with time. The fast path to cash as a business owner is going after a market that is already seeking and ready invest. To create repeatable success you need to know who your next buyer is and then have a clear and effective strategy for intersecting them when they are actively shopping for a solution. Creating this system is non-negotiable if you want results. That is why it is a foundation every client we work with establishes in the first 90 days of working with us. Come check out the Business Scale Accelerator 1-1 Mentorship Program, we have a seat with your name on it. It's go time.

Since joining GrowthMentor a few years ago, I've been saying that mentoring has been, without a doubt, the most fulfilling aspect of my career; the excitement of starting my day (time zones) with amazing start-up founders, small business owners, and growth marketers from every corner of the world. Mentees come with open hearts and minds to listen and soak up my practical, street-smart advice, and... nothing is more fulfilling than getting this review from Mladen Grozev. Even though I have extensive experience across many areas, I consider myself industry-agnostic. I never wanted to be pigeonholed and branded as an expert in a specific industry. And my approach always generates this question by mentees or clients: "How can you help me if you don't know my business?" "That is precisely why I CAN! I am not an 'expert' or 'guru,' nor am I scripted by templated solutions that limit creativity and smart strategic thinking. I can see what you (or your industry 'experts') miss because I'm unbiased." There is nothing wrong with using proven systems or processes, but if you don't differentiate, you'll disappear, or what Seth Godin asks: "Will they miss you if you're gone?" I'm forever in debt to Foti Panagiotakopoulos and Jessica Volbrecht for allowing me to participate in this amazing experience. Join me for an exciting and productive session: https://lnkd.in/e9apdMhZ
