Ok here’s some value… for those asking. A great workshop activity around branding. The Hotel. If Rolls Royce opened a hotel, you’d have a pretty strong idea of what it would be like, luxurious, high end, chandeliers, fillet steak, champagne. Plush beds and a very high price point. If ikea had a hotel, it would be functional, clean, basic, Swiss, and of course would sell meatballs :) What you’re imagining in your head is branding. Not the logo, not the colours, not the business cards (although they all contribute) it’s the feeling, what you’re known for, your essence, your service and your promises. And of course your reputation. The workshop challenges your team to describe your brands hotel… it’s good fun and opens eyes to what’s missing. Just in case you were unsure what ‘branding’ is. :)

When I first stepped into the world of hospitality, I quickly realized that every detail counts. From the ambiance to the amenities, every aspect contributes to the overall experience of guests. One element that often gets overlooked but holds huge potential is packaging design. Imagine a guest walking into your hotel, tired from their journey, but as they approach the front desk, their eyes catch a glimpse of your vibrant, sun-kissed amenity packaging. Instantly, they're transported to a world of summer bliss. That's the power of bright packaging – it sets the tone for the entire stay. Bright and captivating packaging designs not only catch the eye but also leave a lasting impression. They speak volumes about your brand identity and the experiences you offer. But it's not just about aesthetics. Studies have shown that visual appeal can significantly impact consumer behavior. In fact, according to research by The Paper Worker, 72% of purchasing decisions are influenced by packaging design. So, how can hotels leverage this trend to their advantage? By integrating their packaging with the essence of summer – whether it's through vibrant colors, playful patterns, or expressive imagery. By doing so, they create a connection with their guests, inviting them to choose their establishment over others. In a world where experiences matter more than ever, it's important to pay attention to every detail – including the packaging. So, let's harness the sunshine in every bottle and enhance guest experience one design at a time. Share your thoughts below on how packaging has influenced your hotel experiences. #Hospitality #PackagingDesign #SummerVibes #HotelExperience #BrandIdentity

Let me share a story about the power of branding in the hospitality industry. Picture this: you walk into a hotel, greeted by the warm glow of dimmed lights and the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee ☕. As you make your way to the reception, you notice the carefully curated artwork adorning the walls, evoking a sense of sophistication and culture 🖼️. The logo on the front desk is sleek and modern, reflecting the hotel's commitment to contemporary design. It's clear that every detail has been meticulously chosen to create a distinct and memorable experience for guests. Branding plays a crucial role in the hospitality industry. It sets the tone, communicates the values, and differentiates a hotel, restaurant, or café from its competitors. A well-crafted brand identity creates an emotional connection with customers, inviting them to become an integral part of the establishment's story. It establishes trust and loyalty among patrons, making them eagerly return for more. With social media and online platforms shaping the way we choose our dining and lodging experiences, a strong brand presence is more important than ever. It's not just about having a catchy name or a pretty logo; it's about creating a holistic experience that resonates with your target audience. Think about your unique selling points, the emotions you want to evoke, and how you can consistently deliver on your brand promise. So, fellow hospitality enthusiasts, I ask you: How can you leverage the power of branding to create an unforgettable experience for your guests? 🌟💫 #hospitalityindustry #branding #customerexperience

Crafting Sustainability in High-End Hospitality: An Emerging Age of Mindful Design Greetings, LinkedIn Community I am so excited to start this research and conversation adventure with all of you! Today, I want to talk about a very personal subject: how fashion and sustainability meet in the world of upscale hospitality. As I work directly with upscale hotels and restaurants in my present position at NO Uniform, I have the honour of personally observing the increased attention on sustainability in the hospitality sector. It's evident that increasingly luxurious boutique hotels and internationally recognised restaurants are embracing eco-friendly methods in all facets of the visitor experience. So, what role does fashion play in this calculation? ____________________________________________ #SustainableFashion #LuxuryHospitality #EcoFriendlyDesign #BlockchainTechnology #EthicalProduction #ResponsibleLuxury #SustainabilityInFashion #InnovationInHospitality

What are the other protectable elements of a boutique hotel’s brand? Let’s go beyond brand names and explore some examples: ◾️The Visual: From creative logos to innovative architectural designs, #trademarks and #copyrights can protect your brand's unique visual aesthetics. ◾️The Aromatic: Many hotels have started to infuse their lobbies with their signature scents. If your distinct fragrance is a key part of the brand experience, consider registering it as a trademark to prevent others from replicating your proprietary smell. ◾️The Flavorful: Those one-of-a-kind recipes, unique ingredients, or delicious cocktail blends that become part of your property’s overall brand may qualify as #tradesecrets worthy of confidentiality measures. By having an Intellectual Property strategy for your brand, you can own the full sensory experience your guests take part in. Don't let your brand's secret sauce walk out the door. Leverage and protect your IP to safeguard your brand 💡 #boutiquehotellawyer #hospitality #smallluxuryhotels #boutiquehotels #interiordesigners #independenthotels
