At the end of each day, I do not doubt that he has done his best. When is an acceptable time to play Christmas music in an office? It's been on for a week here at 11Investments HQ...not hating at all, just keen to get a sense of what everyone else thinks. 5. Ok, I played enough yesterday...Next on the countdown is the role I filled last week - 6. Board of Directors Liaison. Depending on the size and complexity of the Board, there are Admins whose sole responsibility is to support the Board and its committees. Often titled "Board Secretary", this role coordinates travel logistics, board deck compilation, board updates, activities, etc. Precision planning and execution are the name of the game here. Ask any Admin how they feel about "board season". They will say it's one of the busiest times of the year. Upon arriving at the office, I dive straight into my daily tasks, starting with monitoring and ensuring everything is in order. 📧 I check my emails, tackle administrative duties, and get ready to face the day's challenges. Throughout the day, I focus on generating quotations, proforma invoices, and assisting walk-in clients. 🤝 I also collaborate closely with our sales manager, Bianca Prinsloo, to ensure we meet our goals and deadlines. Additionally, I make sure the warehouse staff has all the necessary resources to efficiently pick & deliver products to our clients. 📦 As an administrator, my role is to facilitate the smooth operation of our team and ensure we provide excellent service to our clients. As we come to the end of November and into our busiest month of the year (as well as last) I think it’s super important to reflect upon BIG and SMALL wins 🏅🙌🏼 My top 5 highlights have got to be: 1. Coming off the tools to run my business rather than being in the business. 2. Investing new equipment - a upholstery and carpet cleaner. We get to meet so many different businesses and people who we might not have been able to help before. 3. Learning new business strategies, networking and attending courses. (Being nominated for a national cleaning award) and having other cleaning businesses to lean on rather seeing them as competition. 4. Hiring our first ever admins assistant!
