As the school year wraps up, a gentle reminder: Parents on your team and at your company may need to adjust schedules for award ceremonies, graduations, summer school, camp hours, child-care limitations, and more. It's all about juggling priorities. Award ceremonies at 10:30? Offline we go. Graduation parking chaos? Early exit it is. School at 8, camp at 9? A quick run is in order. After-school care until 6? Unfortunately, no such luck, leaving parents with coverage only until 3. We will get the work done, it just might look a little different for the next 10 weeks. I have been augmenting as adjunct for Vickie Bell for the past year, focusing on growth of the Jacksonville University's Respiratory Therapy program. This new opportunity to earn your Bachelor's degree as a RRT is a critical capability for the NE Florida region - outstanding job, Vickie Bell! The most recent facts related to the Respiratory Therapy clinical specialization: The demand for Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) is projected to grow significantly over the next five years, driven by factors such as: Aging Population: As the population ages, the prevalence of chronic respiratory diseases like COPD and asthma increases, leading to a greater need for respiratory care. Advances in Medical Technology: New therapies and technologies are allowing patients with severe respiratory conditions to live longer, requiring ongoing respiratory support. Increased Awareness of Respiratory Health: Greater public awareness of respiratory health issues is leading to increased demand for preventative care and treatment. While the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 13% growth in employment for RRTs from 2022 to 2032, some sources suggest even higher demand, particularly in certain regions or specialties. Salary Increases: Salary increases for RRTs are expected to vary based on location, experience, and specialization. However, given the high demand and critical role of RRTs in patient care, salaries are likely to see a steady increase over the next five years. Some factors that could influence salary increases include: Competition among Employers: Hospitals and healthcare facilities may offer higher salaries and benefits to attract and retain qualified RRTs. Negotiation and Advocacy: Professional organizations and unions representing RRTs can advocate for higher wages and better working conditions. Regional Variations: Salaries may be higher in areas with a higher cost of living or a greater shortage of RRTs. Overall Outlook: The outlook for RRTs over the next five years is very positive. The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools that have increased access to AP coursework while maintaining or improving exam performance. Recognizing that student post-secondary pathways are more diverse than ever, college and career readiness in LBUSD is measured through a three-pronged approach: AP participation, dual enrollment in community college courses and the completion of career technical education (CTE) pathways. A focus on these key areas supports a personalized approach to preparing students for life after high school, equipping each student with the skills and real-world experiences needed for their unique future. 22nd August 2023: The Day I Got Into My Dream College, SRCC♥️ A year ago, on this very day, my life changed forever when I saw "SHRI RAM COLLEGE OF COMMERCE" on my dashboard. The rush of emotions, the overwhelming joy, and the sense of achievement were beyond words. I spent the entire day in disbelief, repeating to myself, "It's SRCC, it's SRCC," as if saying it would make it more real. As I reflect on the past year, the transition from school to college has been more than just a shift in environment; it’s been a shift in mindset, in lifestyle, and in everything. -From the familiar comfort of textbooks to the convenience of PDFs. -The warmth of home-cooked meals has been replaced by the PG and Canteen food. -The routine of a school van has given way to the independence of metro rides, where each journey is a reflection of my newfound freedom. -From School uniform, now every morning starts with the decision of what to wear. -I remember when arriving at school 20 minutes early was a norm, and now, it’s a victory just to get to class, even if it’s 20 minutes late. -The idea of revising the syllabus thoroughly before exams seems like a distant memory; now, just seeing the syllabus for the first time during exams feels like an achievement in itself. But it’s not just about the changes in habits or routines; it’s about the dialogues that have become a part of my daily life. "Canteen chale?" The trust in a friend "Proxy laga diyo, please." The shared confusion "Ma'am, books konsi refer karein?" The collective relief "Ma'am, please postpone the test." Ma'am Pls Tell important questions Mam attendance✨ These aren’t just words—they are the threads that weave together the fabric of college life. With this, my first year at SRCC comes to an end. It’s been a year of growth, of stepping out of comfort zones, of learning not just from books but from experiences. One year down, two to go 🎓

If you are planning to attend college, and you are seeking FULL-Ride opportunities, here are a few ACTION steps to ensure you earn those scholarships: 1. **Maintain a strong academic record:** Focus on achieving high grades throughout high school. Take challenging courses, such as Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) classes, if available. Also, Dual enrollment classes are sometimes available FREE of charge. 2. **Excel on standardized tests:** Perform well on the SAT or ACT exams. Consider taking test preparation courses or practicing with study materials to improve your scores. 3. **Engage in extracurricular activities:** Participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as sports, clubs, community service, or leadership positions. Show a commitment to your interests and make a positive impact. 4. **Demonstrate leadership:** Seek leadership roles in your extracurricular activities or in your community. Leadership experience can set you apart from other applicants. 5. **Community service:** Volunteer regularly in your community and make a difference. Document your community service hours and experiences. 6. **Write a compelling personal statement:** Craft a well-written personal statement that showcases your strengths, achievements, and goals. Be authentic and show your passion for your chosen field of study. 7. **Obtain strong letters of recommendation:** Ask teachers, counselors, or other mentors who know you well to write strong letters of recommendation that highlight your abilities and character. 8. **Research scholarship opportunities:** Explore the specific scholarships offered by the University of Alabama and other organizations. Tailor your applications to meet the criteria of each scholarship. 9. **Submit a complete application:** Ensure that your application is complete and submitted before the deadline. Pay attention to details and follow all instructions carefully. 10. **Prepare for interviews:** If required, prepare for scholarship interviews by practicing common interview questions and highlighting your strengths and experiences.
