I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I’ve recently been shortlisted for two awards, The individual achievement award The equality, diversity and inclusion award. Having the great pleasure of attending the awards ceremony on Friday and winning The individual achievement award, while coming highly commended for the The equality, diversity and inclusion award had already made my night, but it seems there were other plans in motion. To my and everyone's surprise, there was yet an another award to be handed out at the end of the night the Winner of winners award, and it was non other then my name I hear called up to stage. Just being nominated for these awards is an incredible honor but to even win amongst a hall of highly ambitious and successful changemakers is truly a humbling experience. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for the organisers, Community Interest Luton for running these awards for the last 15 years celebrating our amazing community and to everyone who contributed from all the wonderful sponsors, judges and inspirational nominees . You did an amazing job making my first Luton and Bedfordshire community awards a truly memorable experience. A huge thank you to my amazing mentors, friends and family who continually push me to be my best and believe in me even when I don't.
