What Better Way to Say Thank You Than a Box Full of Coziness? The Project: The client wanted to express their gratitude for their teams hard work and dedication. They chose to gift them with a cozy holiday kit. The Process: Step one- choosing cozy items like the blanket, candle, coffee mug and hot chocolate bomb. Step two- working with The Chest to select the box, discuss design options, and fulfillment. Step three- sit back and wait for the magic to happen. The Results: A cozy kit that is simple yet effective with a two color screen print that adds some shimmer and ties in with the items. The special message printed on the inside lid added that extra personal touch. The kit was delivered to the doorsteps of every team member. Celebrating Small Wins: A Lesson in Growth There was a time when I didn’t celebrate my small wins. They felt too small, too insignificant to even mention. I’d brush them off, thinking only the big milestones were worth celebrating. But over time, I’ve learned that those small victories—whether it’s completing a challenging task, hitting “publish” on an idea, or receiving a positive response to your work—are what build the foundation for the bigger successes. These moments remind us of the progress we’ve made and the effort we’ve put in, no matter how imperfect or unfinished things may seem. Seeing Vaino’s post about celebrating small wins reminded me how important it is to acknowledge every step forward. It’s not just about the destination; it’s about appreciating the journey and the growth along the way. So, here’s to celebrating all our wins, big or small, and recognizing the effort we put into becoming better versions of ourselves every day. What’s one small win you’ve celebrated recently? Let’s share and inspire each other!
Do you also celebrate your small wins? 🎉 Taking that leap of faith and immersing myself in the creative space Has taught me to be appreciative of the work I put out regardless of the magnitude 🏔️ Appreciating that my work doesn’t need to be perfect before hitting the share button Hence I felt a deep sense of gratification when this email notification hit my mailbox 📬 That said, I’d like to personally thank you for visiting feinkostdeli.com your home of ready-to eat deli favorites :)

One of the best parts of running a business is the people you get to work with.
On the left, my first day at Disruptive Advertising 10 years ago. On the right, someone who is personally and professionally a completely different person. I want to say two things: 1. You're a product of the people you spend the most time with. For the last decade, that means Mon-Fri it's been my compadres at work. I'm lucky to say I respect and admire that group of people immensely. The list is very long. Some still work here still, some don't. To all of you, I'm incredibly grateful for your impact on me. 2. I owe a huge portion of who I have become to Jacob Baadsgaard. Thank you for your courage among many things.

A tale of my two paths in business at my 1 year anniversary of being back on 𝕏 and LinkedIn. Once, I was the samurai – loyal, committed, answering to the mission of others. I played my role well, but the vision wasn’t my own. Then, everything changed. I became The Revenue Ronin – a masterless warrior, driven by MY purpose, MY rules. No safety net. Just the freedom (and responsibility) to carve my path. Here’s why I chose the life of a “Revenue Ronin” – a CMO without a leash, thriving on independence and relentless value creation. 🔽 The shift that made all the difference… Imagine the samurai as the classic loyal company man. He's got a boss – a feudal lord – who sets the direction and provides the resources. In return, the samurai delivers his skills, protects the assets, and plays his role with precision, bound by loyalty and duty. He's on a set path, within a structured system, and while he’s respected and capable, his journey is shaped by someone else’s mission. Now, enter the ronin. He’s a masterless samurai, a free agent. No boss, no safety net, and no one calling the shots but himself. Instead of being bound by a single employer, he answers to his own values, goals, and direction. A ronin is versatile, sharp, and driven by his own purpose. He’ll pick up new skills and adapt because his survival and success depend on it. The ronin mindset embraces independence, flexibility, and a readiness to forge his own path, thriving in environments where he defines the mission and the methods. In business, the samurai might be the in-house CMO or marketing director, while the ronin is the fractional CMO, the sales and marketing ronin, always seeking to bring value on his terms, unbound by any single allegiance. Thank you LinkedIn for joining me on this journey. 🥷 - The Revenue Ronin

I want to share a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out over the past week. I come from a team where the work we do isn't well understood, or appreciated by the average employee. And that's okay - the teams I managed were rarely the next big thing - we were usually the everyday thing, the behind the scenes of the behind the scenes, running things smoothly so people didn't have to worry about the everyday, and could focus more energy on whatever the next big thing was. But, I have had so many reach outs of people expressing condolences, sharing opinions, suggesting job opportunities, etc. From coworkers past and present, vendors, old project teams - it has been an incredible week of reflection to be able to recognize the impact that I have made, and regain perspective on the number of people and projects I have gotten to know in the last decade and a half. I don't recommend losing your job, but the upside is definitely hearing people recognize your impact. So, today - if you are still working, ask yourself a few questions. Are your paychecks always on time and correct? If so - when is the last time you said thank you to your payroll team? Is there a technology you use everyday that ISN'T plagued with unexpected outages or bugs? When is the last time you thanked your product management/IT team for that? Your security team, your mail room, your call center - what areas around you are doing exactly what is asked of them and doing it great, and never being thanked for a job well done? Go make someone's day by saying thank you for keeping the little things from becoming big things!

Expecting life to be easy and for you to be a success will ensure that life is difficult and you are a failure. Control your process and you eventually control your destiny. And you're grateful for that destiny, too. That's one of the points of this week's newsletter. https://lnkd.in/g6dCgiTd (A big hat tip to Alex Hormozi.)
