Swiss Case Study involving Safe- and Sustainable- by Design We are currently researching the design of a case study showing how Safe- and Sustainable- by Design approaches can help guide both the public and private sectors in their decision making with a focus on current issues in Switzerland. Our goal would be to show how data- and science- driven evidence could support improved product design and use, life cycle management and impact assessment and measurement e.g. showing a positive impact on a goal such as reduced human cancer risk or improved biodiversity. We are currently reaching out to potential collaborators to discuss their interests to be involved in such a case study. If interested please just message me and we can discuss further!

Dosimetric Adjustments in Dose Response Assessment Virtual Training Led by Bernard K. Gadagbui, M.S., Ph.D., DABT, ERT, Senior Toxicologist at Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA) This virtual 4-hour course offers essential training in the dosimetric adjustments crucial for dose-response assessment. Participants will understand the importance of dosimetric adjustments and learn practical methods for conducting them. OpenTox Summer School and Bursary Awards If you are a student (any level through postdoctoral) interested in the use of data-driven analysis and modelling methods in predictive toxicology and risk assessment, please consider joining us for this summer’s OpenTox Summer School which will be held online the week of 26 August. The school activities involve both presentations and exercises and make for a valuable learning and networking experience with your peers and the instructors! You simply have to submit a CV and motivation letter by 31 July for consideration. Accepted applications will include complementary registration for the summer school and the OpenTox Virtual Conference to be held in the Autumn, where you can also present on your work, and a complementary membership through end of 2025.
