FIRST PRINCIPLES APPLY TO CRE: Top of the Stack: Sponsors seeking Debt or the Whole Stack - Senior/Mezzanine and LP/CO-GP, must be able to show necessary liquidity for their contributions. Underwriting is a time consuming and expensive process for Institutional Capital. Therefore, HJ requires proof of Liquidity prior to Submission to the Capital. It's similar to the necessity of the Sponsors having Control of the Subject Property. Without these basic elements in place it's premature to Submit.
