It was a pleasure to attend the recent groundbreaking ceremony for the Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum on the Fort Campbell military base. 🇺🇸 The museum will document and display the heroic stories of the units that call Fort Campbell home – the 101st Airborne Division, 5th Special Forces Group, and the 160th Special Ops Aviation Regiment, with interactive displays and memorabilia dating from the Vietnam War to the present day. Construction is now underway on the project. Fun fact: The shovels used for the ceremony are traditional Army-issue entrenching shovels – a nod to the servicemen and women and Veterans that this military museum will honor. HAPPY MONDAY/HAPPY ARMED FORCES DAY!!!!! On this day in 1950, President Harry S. Truman established Armed Forces Day. Peering through literature reviews gives you a different view of those who served. When you FOCUS, you find that these leaders cared about the military. The theme of the first Armed Forces Day was “Teamed for Defense,” and it had a three-fold mission: 1. To celebrate and recognize all Americans serving in uniform, as well as those who had served before. 2. To bring citizens closer to their military by hosting base open houses and public displays of new military technology. 3. To promote the unity of the military services established in the National Security Act of 1947. #A1CLorenzoRWilson

The American military needs merit, not DEI. For the second year in a row, Heritage’s Index of U.S. Military Strength has ranked the overall state of America’s armed forces as “weak.” Here’s the breakdown of the decisions being made that directly impact our military’s ability to perform its missions in today’s world: https://lnkd.in/dCTVzT5d

Dear Ukrainian Warfighters... Have you ever noticed how there are NOT TicToc videos of current or social media posts about future combat operations involving the US Army Special Forces, US Navy SEALS, USMC Strikers, 75th Ranger Regiment, Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta, 82nd Airborne Division, or any other US military operations? The reason is simple, it's a really stupid idea to share such things which the enemy is watching and taking notes. It's even considered a crime to share such nonsense and especially when it jumps the chain of command and tells 5ws about the unit and the defenders in the unit. What's more surprising is that the American General Staff is unaware that Ukrainian units regularly post these OPSEC violations on TicToc and WhatNot. So obviously the American General Staff can't suggest to Ukrainian General Staff about simple OPSEC violations and how they lead to a jackpot. Or they're timid...or maybe it's a genius plan in the manner of Sun Tzu. Maybe not.
