The $1.1 billion Frankston Hospital redevelopment has hit a milestone, with the external façade of the new clinical services tower now complete.
The project aims to enhance healthcare in Melbourne’s south-east, increasing capacity to treat an additional 35,000 patients annually once fully operational.

VIDEO. Most, if not all, hospitals create, formulate, and put together an annual or regular bi-annual, 5 year Strategic Plan. In that regard, they are not different from large and major corporations. I have read a number of hospital strategic plans and watched a number of videos they produced. They talk about about the meat and vision of their plan. Who puts together these plans? Well, some hospitals do have a hospital strategist officer, who in consultation and discussion with hospital officials and management stakeholders prepares it. In others, it's a combination of hospital officers and staff. Here is one hospital's video about their strategic plan.
