During the event, our SABIC team also began sharing more about MEGAMOLDING™ – our new platform focused on providing manufacturers with the expertise, data, tools, and thermoplastic solutions that can enable the production of large parts and modules for a range of applications, including but not limited to EV battery enclosures. Future Technologies for Automotive Batteries: Opportunities and Challenges with Dr. Angelique Janse van Rensburg from BMW Group. Lithium-ion technology is set to be the workhorse of e-mobility for the next decade and thus demands further R&D to improve the usual performance indicators such as energy density, safety, and lifetime.
