If you are running a technology business and are using: - Apprenticeships - Graduate Programmes - Hiring from Bootcamps you might like to know that there is another option. Previous to Qualyfi, we tried all of these routes for our growing Microsoft consultancy and they had these 3 big challenges: - Ramps are minimum of 6 months to value (more for apprentices and boot camps) - Attrition rates are high - Early career people need constant help from seniors The industry has accepted this as the norm. Qualyfi was founded to do fix the same underlying problem (skills gap) but in a new way, one built on decades of consulting experience. Qualyfi offers the following and we think it is unique in the market: -Instant Value. If Qualyfiers don't bill or add value on DAY ONE then you don't pay until they do. We train Qualyfiers for your specific technologies, frameworks and projects that you have in the backlog or pipeline. The average billable utilisation of our Qualyfiers is 75% in the first month. -You can cancel the entire contract after three months if it's not working out (but all our customers take more people, we have a high NPS.) -You can replace a Qualyfier for free if they leave, within the first six months. -We provide pastoral and technical mentoring for the entire term of the placements (typically two years). -Qualyfiers get 24 days of technical and professional skills training over their placements (certifications, soft skills). -We screen candidates with our unique IP that predicts success in consulting. We consider traits like determination, EQ and humility. 2:1 STEM degrees do not necessarily make a great consultant. We have only taken two people from bootcamps from thousands of applicants, because most of them do not make the grade for our expectations. The ROI on our approach is off the charts when compared to any academy scheme or similar you currently have. It doesn't matter if you've built the academy and hired trainers: switching to the Qualyfi approach is still likely a better options because of the time to value. In this cost restricted economy, why would you not want to continue building future talent but at a 40% improved ROI with less risk? And we've not even got to the best part yet, by far..... We built Qualyfi to drive greater social mobility in technology roles. We open our programme to anyone, from anywhere, with any qualifications. How many great IT delivery people do you know that don't have degrees? We bet it's "lots". How do you spot them at early stage? We know how. If you'd like to know more then get in touch. Click here and book some time with someone who has run large delivery teams and knows what you're up against. https://lnkd.in/djDbUBNj

Kicking off this week with a trip to school to talk to KS3 students about education and career paths – which got me thinking, what did I wish I’d been told at that age? 🔍 Look for helpers – Find mentors/inspiring people willing to help you find what you want to do (and don't worry if you've got no idea!). Surrounding yourself with supportive people is key. 📗 Education vs On-the-job training – When I was in school there was a huge emphasis on getting a University education. Which was the path I ended up going down but looking back placement and on-the-job training would have been equally valuable without the heavy £££ fees.* ❤️ Find your passion – Find a job or create a path that makes you happy. “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” - Mark Twain What would you have wanted to know? *A heavy caveat, having a degree is what helped me secure my job at Venture Stream in the beginning. I started on a Graduate Scheme as employee number one almost 10 years ago! [Picture description: A young primary-school-age Adele with butterfly face paint.
