At ResourceCo we’re in the business of breaking down various streams of waste material. When breaking down the elements of this seemingly straightforward photo, we can see the depth and breadth of our resource recovery network. 🗺 The Location: ResourceCo’s Oaklands fill site, one of our multiple fill sites across the country where we rehabilitate and improve landscapes. ♻ The Material: ResourceCo’s R20 mulch, produced at our Brooklyn facility. 🚚 The Truck: One of ResourceCo’s managed fleet of 1,000+ vehicles. 🌏 The Environmental Improvement: This mulch is being used as part of stage one of our site revegetation works which will see 5,000 plantings in the ground 🌲 As the saying goes, 'a picture is worth a thousand words’, and this sunrise photo is no exception! #resourcerecovery #circulareconomy #recycling #sustainability

Solutions to the challenges we face... They aren't likely to be silver bullets. Instead, we need overlapping solutions that together help us take on our various challenges. On a recent visit to Chicago, I was inspired by what I saw and heard from so many of the people that I met with. Individuals and groups who are working on challenges and coming up with ways to address them. A big shout out to Joanne Rodriguez, LEED AP, FitWel Amb, CDT and the entire Mycocycle, Inc. team for what they are doing to utilize fungi to transform waste (like carpet, rubber, and gypsum drywall) into non-toxic materials that can be used to make other products. #circulareconomy A big shout out to Russell Steinberg and the entire FARMZER0 team for what they are doing with indoor agriculture in the urban environment. #sustainability #foodsecurity A big shout out to Erin Hagen and the entire Keller Action Science Center team at the Field Museum for what they are doing to restore the health (ecological and human) of local and distant ecosystems and for inspiring and empowering people to take actions that conserve and restore the habitats that support lives, including ours. #conservation We're all in this together and together we can come up with the solutions to address the many challenges facing us today and facing the generations who will inherit this world from us.

We are thrilled to announce Pollination is joining Arbor Day Carbon in a bold new global partnership to identify and develop tree planting projects that will produce high integrity carbon credits and deliver positive impact for climate and nature. The Arbor Day Foundation will identify suitable afforestation, reforestation & revegetation (ARR) carbon projects across its global network. Pollination will onboard selected projects for funding, and will provide technical, regulatory and commercial project development support. The Foundation will also support the marketing of issued carbon credits for these projects. Since its inception in 1972, Arbor Day Foundation has helped plant more than 500 million trees globally and helped hundreds of companies to achieve their climate goals. The partnership draws on Pollination’s demonstrated ability to leverage global carbon markets to deliver climate and nature objectives as well as assembling and deploying finance for critically needed nature restoration. “Amid the increasingly urgent fight against climate change, the Arbor Day Foundation is in constant pursuit of new ways to drive impact through reforestation,” said Dan Lambe, CEO of the Arbor Day Foundation. “Pollination has demonstrated expertise in steering capital to unlock positive, transformational change in nature.
