🛩️ 𝐈’𝐦 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞!🛩️ In July of this year, I completed my studies at the Universidad de León, culminating in my Final Degree Project titled "𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐌𝐓 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐇𝐏 𝐄-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞: 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬" which was awarded with the 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬. This project focused on developing steady-state and transient models to simulate the behavior of the AMT Olympus HP E-Start engine using Matlab, comparing the results with Gasturb software and experimental data. ❗ 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬: • Development of two steady-state simulation models using the Component Matching structure, including a nested loop algorithm and a matrix iteration algorithm based on Newton-Raphson. • Creation of two transient models using the ICV and IMF methods to evaluate the dynamic performance of the engine. • Comparison of results with professional software and experimental data, achieving outstanding accuracy in the steady-state models and laying the groundwork for the future development of more complex transient models. 🎓 I have already embarked on my next academic challenge: the 𝐌𝐒𝐜 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 at ISAE-SUPAERO in Toulouse. 🚀 Exciting News! 🎉 I’m proud to share that the first paper of my Master of Science has been published at AIAA SciTech 2025! 🌍✈️ This research tackles a significant challenge in aerospace engineering: developing a highly accurate model of aircraft dynamics to enhance anomaly detection during flight test campaigns. As part of my Master’s work, I proposed an innovative methodology utilizing Neural Networks to predict aircraft flight dynamics under a wide range of operating conditions—without relying on any physics-based modeling. 💡 Key Highlights: Physics-Free modeling: Unlike traditional approaches, this model does not require any physics-based equations or assumptions, relying entirely on data-driven techniques. Enhanced generalization: The AI-based model predicts flight dynamics across diverse maneuvers. Reliable anomaly detection: The model captures long-term dependencies and operates within predefined tolerances, offering a robust tool for improving safety during flight test campaigns. Impact: A significant step forward in advancing aerospace testing methodologies through artificial intelligence and data-driven modeling. This work was conducted at the Laboratory of Applied Research in Active Control, Avionics, and AeroServoElasticity (LARCASE). I am thrilled to announce the completion of my final project of the 1st semester of M.Tech, titled: "Experimental Investigation of Moment and Thrust Generated by an Aircraft Propeller." This project was an incredible learning experience where I delved deep into the aerodynamics and mechanics of propeller performance. By conducting experiments, I explored how various factors influence the thrust and moment generated by an aircraft propeller. Key highlights of this project include: - Designing and setting up the experimental framework. - Collecting and analyzing data to understand performance characteristics. - Gaining hands-on experience in tackling real-world engineering challenges. This endeavor has not only enhanced my technical skills but also solidified my passion for aviation and aerospace engineering. I am grateful to my mentors, faculty members, and my teammates who supported me throughout this journey. 🎓 Proud to Complete My MSc Dissertation 🎓 I am excited to announce the completion of my MSc dissertation, titled "Mach 10 Re-entry Heat Shield Optimization Using CFD Simulations and Machine Learning Tools," conducted at the University of Bristol. In this work, I delved into the intricate challenges of optimizing the performance of spacecraft heat shields, particularly under extreme re-entry conditions at Mach 10. Using a combination of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and advanced machine learning clustering algorithms, I explored how material efficiency and safety margins can be improved by analyzing temperature gradients and material recession. My findings present a novel approach to reducing material usage in non-critical thermal zones while ensuring the structural integrity of the spacecraft remains intact. This project has given me the opportunity to work at the intersection of aerospace engineering, data science, and advanced simulation technologies. The implications of this research extend into improving the design of Thermal Protection Systems (TPS), with potential applications in future aerospace missions requiring enhanced safety and material optimization.
