Having celebrated diversity and inclusion over the past month together with our colleagues in BNPride, we are ready to continue the dialogue, regardless of the time of the year. I love the phrase 'Be the Shepard not the 🐑'. 👀 This is a great visual example of how NOT 🚫 following others can do advantageous 📈 Copying what others are doing in essence makes you a 🐑, you are following the crowd in the direction they are going. In this Example Team 1 are your competitors and Team 2 is you with a choice In this classic set up of two teams battling it out; How do you team 1 are correct to do what they did❓ How easy is it to be influenced by watching Team 1 do something and then naturally want to copy them ❓ Could you do the same but faster or better without all the information they have had to make their decisions❓ How do you know team 1 is correct in the thought process and actions❓ Team 1 could be guessing or using the wrong data to base their decision making. Now its team 2's go, your turn, what do you do❓ Copy or be different? 🤷♂️ Business owners are always looking for a competitive edge over rivals, usually this comes out in the form of marketing and sales content. So a great way to combat the constant digital 🤳 scroll of 🐑 content on social media feeds is to be brave enough to be different and lead the way being you. If you are reading this and thinking 🗣 "oh no...are we 🐑? 🤦♂️ "I'd rather be a shepard then a 🐑" I would ❤️ to work with you on your next project.
