We’re so proud to have won the Broadcast Digital Awards 2024 for Best Digital Children’s Content last night.
The award was for the BBC3 & BBC iPlayer programme Game On! which brought content creators and celebrities together in a brand new live gaming extravaganza to raise money for Children in Need last November.
There’s still time to watch it here

Summer means warm weather, days at the beach and a solid week of 24/7 gaming speed runs known as Games Done Quick. What started as a streamed event in someone's basement has grown to a 7 day event that sells out convention space. I can think of no better example of a niche interest that has raised over $50 million for charity over the past 10 years. Summer Games Done Quick was the most watched channel on Twitch June 30th - July 6th. From Metroid Dread to Powerwash Simulator to Mega Man, there is a game for anyone.
SpikeVegeta, Keizaron, KungFuFruitCup and JHobz do a wonderful job to emcee this event and make it accessible to new and returning viewers. Over $2.5 million was raised for Doctors without Borders last week.
This article summarizes the viewership trends and how individual donations have increased to compensate for declining viewership: https://lnkd.in/gAZMqdmU
What niche industry or interest do you follow?

The video game sector is interesting to look at because it is the largest segment of the entertainment industry - larger than music and movies combined. What's sad about Concord is that it never had a chance to catch on, and that's typical in movies, television, and even commercial theatre. In all of these circumstances, the financial stakes are too high to take big risks. This is where the non-profit arts sector can play a role as an innovator. Maybe we need more nonprofit video game developers. #arts#theatre#nonprofit#strategyhttps://ow.ly/NmrE50TktJQ
Posted the very first Ethrits project update, detailing the four starting classes that you'll begin your adventure with. There's a lot more info coming in the next four updates (one for each class), which will be published throughout next week. Until then, thanks for the support, and please back the project if you want to get in on the early versions. #ethrits#mmorpg#gaming
🌟 Today, EGDF participated in the Games Finance Market, hosting the panel on 'Building success in the hardest of times'.

One of my priorities as a parachurch ministry leader is to provide #church#resources that are budget conscious. At Disciple Gaming Ministry, we have a free Bible study program called Royal Priesthood Roleplaying Game (RP2) that you can download, no string attached. I know church budgets can be tight, so money shouldn't be a barrier to gaining access to this game. Check it out at https://lnkd.in/gDMcnZbn#GodAndGaming#TTRPG#BibleStudy
As National Reconciliation Week Draws to a close I thought that I would share with you all this lovely video from Commonwealth Games Australia which describes some of the major elements in the painting that I created for their Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This painting represents the Commonwealth Games Reconciliation journey and a timeline from when Australia first began competing as part of the Commonwealth Games in 1930.

Pyro Path
In the game you have to save yourself along with your brother by collecting the map pieces, find the key, get to your brother before the lava creatures wake up, then escape the volcano together.
The concept of the game was created and implemented by me, the poster below is the main game poster.
Please follow the link below that shows some parts of the game and how it’s played.
