How do you juggle being a working mum and producing Britain’s biggest morning show? Emma Morris is the Executive Editor on Morning Live. Since launching the show back in 2020, Emma and her team at BBC Studios Factual Entertainment Productions have seen it become a firm favourite with millions of viewers. With a CV spanning TV, radio, and print, she’s built up the skills to steer a show that can cover almost any topic. We went behind the scenes with Emma, where she told us about how life away from the studio makes her a better leader. From prioritising what’s important to avoiding the pitfalls of perfectionism, here are Emma’s tips for anyone wanting to work in TV.
