Great work by Myriam, she highlights what a lot of us know, but that industry leaders rarely acknowledge. The film and TV industry favours those crew who have financial support - with it's freelance model and long periods off work. Without addressing that 'post grad' or 'post school' how do we expect it to change? There is funding for LSA and NFTS, but what happens after that? If streamers, broadcasters or gov are going to support anywhere it should include paid internship and shadowing with regular assessments.
