🇫🇮 After attending the Finnish National Farming Exhibition for the first time, I was truly impressed by the level of interest in Raven Industries #Augmenta. It is evident that our precision technology is gaining significant traction in Finland, and I would like to share some key insights: ✅ Most of the arable crops are supported. ✅ Around 200 hours of LiveVRA services are recorded. ✅ Approximately 2,700 hectares are covered. ✅ Up to 7% of savings are achieved. ✅ Highest savings service is LiveVRA Fungicide with 9%. ✅ Highest savings crop is wheat, with 11% in LiveVRA Nitrogen. These results further validate Augmenta's strong market fit in Finland, due to the crop variability, land size and daylight availability during the season.

Meet the partners: Maize Research Institute “Zemun Polje”. The Maize Research Institute, Zemun Polje, is the leading research and development organisation in Serbia, in the development, production and introduction of new high-yielding, quality maize hybrids, soya bean cultivars and small grains varieties, adapted to diverse agro-ecological conditions and growing practices, and suitable for varied purposes and uses. Role in project: Within the “Agroecology for weeds-GOOD” Project, two organic Living Labs in Serbia, focusing on maize and soybeans, apply the multidisciplinary approach and are aspired to create and evaluate Agroecological Weed Management (AWM) systems, and demonstrate that AWM adoption enhances sustainability and resilience of cropping systems. In the first year of the experiment, three cover crops (CC): oat, rye, and winter vetch will be sown in autumn, and, in spring either maize or soybean will be sown as the main crop. The control (without CC) will be also included. The best performing CC will be selected for the 2nd and 3rd year.
