Since 1992, The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade has worked to improve the lives of women and girls by providing almost $4 million of funding to support almost 500 programs serving over 75,000 women and girls throughout Miami-Dade County. We focus on creating change for women and girls through action, advocacy, and investing in key collaborative initiatives that generate sustainable impact in four pillars of Economic Mobility, Leadership, Health & Well-being, and Freedom From Violence.

AI and technology are amazing to track. However, the value of human beings still doing jobs with excellence is hard to underestimate. Prior to becoming a business owner, I was in corporate sales for Alexander's Mobility Services. Their culture of delivering excellence as demonstrated in this clip of J.R. Perez, always amazed me. It put into action the quote by George Washington Carver, “When you do the common things in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world.” Moving the household of a family across country can be considered a menial job. Yet if it is done poorly it can be a traumatic life experience. Done well, it is a huge blessing and I saw excellence delivered thousands of times during my career with Alexander’s.
