It’s been a very busy last couple of days; to top today off I spent the afternoon at Futurebuild . Some interesting talks surrounding retroffitting the vast amount of existing properties within the UK; we have a massive challenge on our hands; what’s clear is a change in mindset is needed to both make these buildings energy efficient, but also implemented in an environmentally sustainable manner. There were also some interesting discussions surrrounding new build properties and meeting the highest energy efficiency standards together with reducing carbon footprints in constructing and operating these properties.
