Kiosk revolution on the horizon? We continue to see the growing demand for kiosks from consumers & more brands should & are taking notice. While being able to place an order with a staff member will always have a place in the QSR dining experience, guests desire the option to place an order without human interaction. While some may not like this trend, the reality is it is happening. Why would guests not want to place an order with a staff member? From our research... ✅ 44% of guests like not feeling rushed to order when at a kiosk ✅ 41% like the ease of exploring the menu ✅ 40% like the ability to view all options in the menu Fun fact for you brand leaders, the longer you can keep your guests eyes on the menu, the higher the probability for bigger orders. It's science. Don't get me wrong, kiosk innovation still has a long way to go in the grand scheme of things. And, for some brands, it isn't the right fit for them or their customers. However, from McKinsey & Company's 2021-2022 personalization study, over 75% of consumers expect a personalized brand experience, which includes providing the optionality they desire to interact how they want, when they want with your biz. Those that have delivered have seen revenue increases by up to 40% or more; that's not nothing. Again, regardless if you are pro or anti-kiosk adoption, this trend is picking up steam.
