Your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of our company vehicles. Here is a brief description of your key responsibilities: Fleet Management: You will be responsible for overseeing our entire fleet of vehicles, which may include vehicles and special equipment. This involves maintaining accurate records of vehicle details, including registration, maintenance history and compliance with regulatory requirements. Vehicle Maintenance: You will schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs to ensure our vehicles are in optimal working condition. It includes inspection, servicing and repair measures to reduce downtime. Fuel and cost management: Manage fuel costs and expenses efficiently by monitoring fuel purchases, optimizing routes and implementing fuel-efficient practices to reduce operating costs. Driver Supervision: Collaborate with drivers to ensure they comply with company policies, safety guidelines, and applicable regulations. Conduct training and provide guidance to improve driver performance and safety. Inventory Control: Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts, tools and equipment required for vehicle maintenance and repair. Ensure that necessary supplies are readily available to minimize downtime. Compliance and Documentation: Stay up to date with local, state and federal regulations regarding fleet management, vehicle safety and environmental standards. Ensure that all required licenses, permits and certifications are up-to-date. Reporting: Generate reports on key performance metrics including vehicle usage, maintenance costs, and fuel consumption and provide regular updates to management. Safety and environmental responsibility: Promote and enforce safety protocols to reduce accidents and ensure environmentally responsible operation of vehicles. Implement strategies to reduce the company's carbon footprint. Eligibility: 1/ Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred. 2/ Previous experience in Fleet Management or similar role is advantageous. 3/ Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair practices. 4/ Familiarity with fleet management software and tools. 5/ Strong organizational and communication skills. 6/ Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
