It's hard to believe it's been almost a month since I began my search for the next opportunity. Over this time, I've had many insightful conversations: phone screens, Zoom Interviews, and consulting requests. A big THANK YOU to everyone I've connected with so far! Common themes have emerged in many of these discussions: ◾ Scaling clinical models in a digital format ◾ People Management ◾ Clinical Outcomes in relation to performance (both program/care team) I'd like to focus on the Clinical Outcomes topic and launch a weekly LinkedIn series where I'll explore this topic from multiple perspectives. Each week, I'll wear a different hat: 🟩 Coach 🟧 Manager 🟨 Operations Leader 🟦 Future Collaborator - What needs to change and how collaboration across various departments can drive us to improve how we measure these outcomes effectively. I plan to wrap up the series with a final post summarizing the state of clinical outcomes in digital therapeutics and what we need to do to drive improvement moving forward. As I dive into the world of commercial partnerships, negotiation skills and market trends, I’ll be sharing my reflections. Perhaps it will help someone else who is navigating a similar path. Diving into business development within the biotech realm opens up exciting opportunities for professionals looking to combine their passion for both science and business. It’s all about identifying and pursuing strategic partnerships, fostering collaborations, and propelling the growth of biotechnology companies. In this role, individuals can play a crucial part in the success of biotechnology companies. Armed with industry insights and a pulse on market trends, they can identify new business opportunities.
