An unusual post from me 🙂
2024 marks my 16 years at Osmosys Software Solutions and in the IT industry. For an introvert like me, who talks less and is not good at social skills, survival itself was a giant task.
But I swam through and swam through it smoothly and successfully. It was because I had people support me all along the way, be it the management, mentors, or my team.
I have climbed the ladder slowly from being a manual tester (with no coding experience) to a developer and to a team lead.
None of these were easy, but the confidence Osmosys Software Solutions had in me and the management's unwavering support are the reasons I am where I am today professionally. I had great mentors in Medida Srinivas, Keshava Chandra, Rama Rao Medida and Swetha Bandi, who held my hand and helped me get over the first hurdle.
I learnt (as a lead) from my team & colleagues —be it the essence to put yourself in their shoes sometimes to understand a few things, how to quickly grasp new technologies that evolve each day, or how to socialize and enjoy life.

There were hiccups, ups & downs, successes & failures. There were good days and bad days at the office. And all that is what made these 16 years memorable and enjoyable.
All clients, I have worked with played a pivotal role in my growth all way along.

A few lessons I learnt along the way:
· Change is the only constant.
· Learn, unlearn, relearn - if you don't, you won't be able to survive in this fast-paced industry.
· It is okay to not talk much - but ensure you deliver and are productive.
· You are as good as your team, or rather your growth is because of your team.
· Never hesitate to stand up for your team.
· Being honest with the client.
Thank you, Osmosys Software Solutions, for the recognition, appreciation, award, and more importantly, for backing and supporting me over the last 2 years when I wasn't 100% fit professionally due to personal issues. #gold
