Pakistan is regarded as one of the most passionate cricketing nations in the world, with a significant infrastructure of large stadia across the country, the Pakistan Cricket Board is preparing for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy Tournament. As such, BDP Pattern has been selected as the lead designer to help improve the stadium infrastructure and enhance the overall fan experience at three famous cricket stadiums in Pakistan. This project will specifically be looking at upgrading existing stadia layouts and facilities at the National Bank Stadium, the Gaddafi Stadium and the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Mohsin Naqvi, PCB Chairman and Pakistan Interiors Minister said, “Enhancing the spectator-friendliness of our stadium is a top priority, we have made significant strides by appointing internationally recognized BDP Pattern, which specialises in redesigning and redeveloping international sporting arenas”.
