In 2013, Lima secured the 2019 Pan American and Para-pan American Games, beating three other cities. In March, it was announced they would host the games again in 2027! In this article, Lindsay Johnston BDP Pattern Architect Director, delves into the challenges of designing and constructing the infrastructure for the 2019 games. The team had just 18 months to create eight venues for 6,680 athletes from 41 countries.
