Sunrise Pavilion has officially opened its doors in San Jose, developed in partnership with Santa Clara County Housing Authority, City of San José, Santa Clara County’s Office of Supportive Housing, and the Bill Wilson Center. Sunrise Pavilion offers 43 affordable homes, including 30 studio apartments and 12 one-bedroom apartments, dedicated to supporting Transitional Age Youth (TAY) coming from homelessness. 🏡 Jamboree’s new Workforce Center is located onsite to support young adults transitioning to independent living. The Center offers career counseling, mentorship, and guidance on job opportunities, college, or trade school. It’s about providing the tools and resources at the right moment to help individuals regain their independence and create a bright, stable future, and ultimately break the cycle of homelessness. As Josh Selo, CEO at Bill Wilson Center, shared, “The opening of Sunrise Pavilion is a bright spot in the midst of the ongoing housing crisis our community is facing, sparking hope for a brighter future for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in Santa Clara County.” Watch more here: https://hubs.la/Q0307q7g0

It’s part of the under-construction Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail, which, when completed, will stretch from the east to west coasts of Florida, from Titusville to St. Petersburg. Clermont was founded in 1884 and incorporated in 1916, when its main industry was citrus production (that industry thrived until the 1960s). Today, it is the largest city in Lake County, one of the fastest growing counties in Florida. Its historic downtown is the heartbeat of the city, supported by Clermont Main Street, a passionate group of businesses and volunteers working to revitalize the area through a mix of public funding, grants, sponsorships and community events.
