Another thing I love about London is the classes and food it provides access too and what that can do for companies based there. When I went to Battersea the other weekend I walked past a reformer studio and have been so tempted to book a class and do it (getting up to London on the train is quite expensive so haven't got round to it yet). I love how accessible health and wellness is, people running and walking the beautiful parks, whole food stores and juice bars everywhere. What I love more is companies that are based in these areas utilise that to make the workspace and healthy and happy environment for there staff and I think that is so important. Doing things like MCR Marketers did below brings the company together outside of work which can really improve not only your works happiness because you get to know and like the people you work with but also the respect colleagues have for each other. This then leads to better results in whatever you do because you know what you do is valued and makes a difference not only with what you do but for the company so you continue to work hard and know your respected when something isn't going your way and you need a moment to recuperate or resolve in another way and have the space to do that. London brings out the best in people (and has the best stores to treat yourself too, coffee, cake, takeaway the lot)

What a weekend! A massive thanks to Lauren Ridgewell and Embrace Wellness Studio for welcoming us to the Reformer and Yap social! It was great to meet and chat with marketers in a similar position and hear about their own journeys and personal projects 🤩 One thing that stood out to me after the session was that out of all the many introductions that were made, the most memorable, were the ones where we spoke about how we think as marketers rather than the jobs we do. It then made me think about this (as always) in relation to a business and it’s customers.
