Life should not be viewed as a competition. Despite the pervasive feeling of competition, resist getting carried away by it. It's not a race. I've always despised the pressures and stress that competition brings. My journey has been about reclaiming my spirit shattered by the competitive nature of exams. It's curious how competition infiltrates every aspect of life—popularity, likes, followers, success, beauty. While competition has its place, focusing on personal growth rather than turning life into a race could bring greater happiness. Strive to complete rather than compete; it's a more realistic goal for self-growth and confidence. Next time you're tempted to compare yourself, consider embracing who you are, not conforming to others' expectations. Love and peace. #TheBeadThreader | #O_O_O_O

Who are your peers ❓ The kind of peers you choose to flock with in life with either impede your advance or increase the rate at which you advance in life. That is why it is very imperative for you to be discreetly selective in the way you choose your friends. It has been said time with number that your association determines acceleration and that is very true because it is only when you mingle with the right friends will be able to make progress and migrate to higher heights in life. There are some individuals who started on the right track because began to slack back when they began to entangle themselves with the wrong peers. Don't allow anyone to bemuse you by saying to you that you need so many friends before you can succeed or exceed limits in life. It is only when you have the right friends that you can succeed and soar higher in all ramifications of life. One of the reasons while you will need good friends is because only good friends can dish out the right words which will propel you to press forward and to not relent in your persistence amidst your present pains and problems. So ensure you do not mingle with people whose words are like a virus that contaminates your mind but like a vaccine that cultures your mind to think rightly. Always apply wisdom and be watchful as you choose your friends 🤗 I'm always interested in your personal growth and purposeful greatness 🧡

Great post! Hard work is what turns the what ifs? into the what ises! you get me! Smart work all the same, is still hard work, just done more efficiently. As we can be busy working- but at what? what is actually taking up our busyness and is it productive for our business! yes- it was v clever! smart not hard exhibit 1😁 Be honest with yourself! developing anything is not easy- however simple the steps are. But they do become easier as you develop and enhance your skillset! So the moral of the story is. put in the steps&reps and keep the rewards on all fronts. As its the non consistency, which prevents the disciplines of the development of your new skillsets required in attaining your goal that can be your biggest barriers. #mindfuelaudioesloutions #dothestepsputinthework #setyourgoalsandtakeaction #thepowerofnow #andbreatheanxietyprogramme #redo #yodabest30mindsetmasteryprogramme #mindfuel

Unlock Your Peak Potential⚡| Ex-Engineer turned CEO teaching entrepreneurs and high performers steps to unlock their fullest potential 🚀 • Mindset Expert 🧠Life Performance Coach + Strategist 🎙️Podcast Host
Why do we keep forcing ourselves to do things that make us miserable, and then wonder why we can’t stay consistent? 🤔 It’s not a lack of discipline or laziness—it’s about doing things that we don’t truly desire. Desire fuels discipline. If you don’t love what you’re doing, how can you expect to stick with it? Imagine trying to learn a language you’ll never use or working a job you despise just for a paycheck. You deserve more than that. You’re too incredible and capable to settle for a life that doesn’t light you up. I believe we each have a unique purpose and extraordinary potential. Maybe, just maybe, forcing yourself to do things you hate is holding you back from finding your true passion. Instead of beating yourself up for not wanting what doesn’t align with your heart, start asking yourself: What truly excites you? What are you passionate about? When you find those things, discipline will follow naturally. It’s time to let go of what doesn’t serve you and embrace the journey toward what truly fulfills you. You’re meant for greatness—don’t let the wrong path keep you from finding it. 💫✨ Let me know in the comments: What would you pursue if anything was possible? 🌟💬 #LiveYourPurpose #FindYourPassion #NoMoreSettling #TrueFulfillment #BreakFree #MindsetMatters #CreightonBertrand #ChangeYourMindChangeYourLife #YouDeserveMore #LiveWithPassion

Do you ever find yourself caught in an endless cycle of comparing your life and achievements to others? I certainly have. This tendency to compare myself with others struck me recently until I ran into the following example: Emma covered 6 miles in one hour, while Alex covered the same distance in one and a half hours. At first glance, it appears Emma is faster. But when we learn Alex walked on sand while Emma was on a track, Alex seems more impressive. Then we find out Emma is 50 years old while Alex is 25 - so Emma's time is more remarkable. However, Alex was carrying a heavy backpack while Emma had no extra weight - meaning his achievement is greater given the additional load. As more context emerges, our opinions shift. Life is complex; opportunities, resources and challenges vary. Comparing ourselves to others is rarely productive or fair. The only true benchmark is your own continued effort and growth. Three tips to embrace your unique path. >> Do your best with what you have, where you are. >> Keep learning, stay determined and have compassion. >> Your circumstances and path are unique - honor your journey. You are enough. What's one way you show yourself compassion and focus on your own growth when comparison creeps in? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments! #selflove #mindsetshift #selfimprovement #growthmindset

As students we are always on the verge of a cliff where getting ahead and performing good in exams is needed Throughout this journey a student comes across a lot of setbacks, challenges and hindrances which push them and hit them in the face, this is the time which really tests your strength and motivation for you to achieve your goal . It’s in these moments your true strength lies and you can shine ahead brightly. One can take inspiration from great personalities like Thomas Edison when he said “ I have not failed, I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work or like JK Rowling for her famous work, her manuscript was rejected a lot of times. So how come you can overcome hindrances and unlock your true potential? Cultivate your goal: Know what you seek, know whatever you’ve in your mind is clear and true goal and start working for it. Stay in your true persistence: Don’t betray yourself with being lazy and feeding your brain lies, be truthful to yourself and become persistent with what you want to achieve. Further more surround yourself with people who motivate you and create a positive atmosphere around you. Above all cultivate a growth mindset, don’t settle for less, each day try to do more of what you’re capable of. In these times you truly have to believe in yourself and push yourself harder so that you can overcome the storm with a bright sun. So rise up dear students and acknowledge the endless possibilities and opportunities that await you. Believe in yourself and your journey to greatness begins.

Life teaches you who is the real you is and it's never easy on anyone, but it is those challenges that you overcome that define you professionally or personally. I very often talk about the need to be a differentiator to my team in today's day and age where mediocrity is no longer a guarantee of overall success. To carve a niche for yourself you have to rise above all your challenges and you have to communicate to your inner self , your inner motivation to push you on. A life changing moment happened with me when my father suffered a stroke in 1999, after which he never was the same man who I could communicate with. The only thing that I hold on to is a new year greeting card that he wrote with his left hand over a period of 8 hours with his opposite hand. So when the chips are down, i often reflect on my go to motivator, my card, to tell me, that one's job is to fight and continue the resilience, and that having gratitude to do even the basic things is not to be taken for granted. Education gives you the ropes, life's experiences define you and shape you eventually to inspire your own self and probably the next generation. So the next time you question yourself, go back to your motivation to guide you to become what life will or has taught you, because Touching Lives Matter and someone's story could be way tougher than yours! #yourvoicematters #gratitudepractice #leadershipwithheart #connectingpeople #selfdiscovery #innerstrength #humility #resilientleadership #resiliencebuilding

Never let failure get you down... Funny thing is, we tend to focus only on our wins. We try to make them stand out on our resumes, on our LinkedIn profiles. Look how well I did. Look how successful I was! I wish we weren't so shy about showcasing our failures. Of letting everyone know we tried something and failed. Failed miserably. But learned so much about us in the process. Launched an EA program and failed. Launched a new product and fell flat on my face. But I came out stronger. Knowing more about myself, and my craft. Knowing what I was good at, and what I was not. What I needed to improve, to learn, to seek guidance and help. Wouldn't that be a better place? A more authentic environment to work in, to live in. Kids get that. They try new things. And fail at most of them at first. But they try again. They don't let past failures become barriers to future wins. They get better. And better. Until they've mastered this new thing. But then they grow up. And they learn to fear failure. WE teach them to fear failure. So they stick to the knowns, and shy away from the unknowns. In fear of failure. I wish we would keep a small part of the joy of trying, even of failing, that we had as kids. Maybe this would make for a more inclusive, more tolerant place to live in. One where failing wasn't so darn shameful... #Failure #Resilience #grit #growthmindset [Thank you Angela Duckworth for the inspiration behind this post 🙏🏼]

Have you ever felt like you're behind in life? Have you ever compared yourself to successful friends and wondered when your turn will come? Well, I want to welcome you on board as you're not alone! I remember when I had to write jamb twice and was waiting for admission, it wasn't easy honestly. Left to me, I was fine as long as I knew I wasn't a failure. But pressure from people did not allow me rest (if you know you know)😅 I had times when I began to question myself and even compare myself with people who had entered the university. The truth is most of us have had those moments of self-doubt and uncertainty. And tbh, it just shows how human we are in nature. But just as our fingers aren't equal, so is the race in the journey of our lives different. We are all unique, and your unique timeline, strengths, and experiences will shape your own success. You may feel like you're not making progress in your career, education, or business while your mates seem to have gone far ahead of you. But it doesn't mean you'll not get there too, it might just mean the time at which you'll get there is different from theirs. This is why I love the proverb; "It is not how far but how well". Your journey is not someone else's. Focus on how well you're doing, not how far others are. Rather than comparing, embrace your journey, appreciate your growth, and celebrate your wins. Keep doing your best and soon everything you have always desired will be yours❤️ #motivation #inspiration #personalgrowth
