Dear Public Health Pathways Supporters, we have decided to close the charity. On December 2, 2023, at our Annual General Meeting, trustees, volunteers, and members agreed that the charity had fulfilled its purpose.

"It began for me on a personal level as I transitioned into public health, having certain value systems that I felt were important going into the field, and I found people who had the same core principles, and that was key to our success" - Iman Hameed.
From listening:
“This feeling we definitely don't have this knowledge of what's at the core of the populations we are trying to serve, so we need to listen respectfully. Listen to understand rather than listen to respond. Keeping that sentiment at the core has been absolutely fantastic and means that the kernels from this organisation will continue to grow in many different places” - Lakshmi Sundaram.
The team defined ‘Inclusive’ as a charitable value to actively listen to understand diverse viewpoints and avoid using language that perpetuates power imbalances.
To co-creation:
"Really exploring how co-creation could be used productively really struck me in terms of Public Health Pathways' efforts around bringing together and building relationships across diverse groups of stakeholders. To explore and understand complex public health challenges more deeply across local and global dimensions" – Nai Lee Kalema.
That collective, the building, strengthening each other's work, sharing, learning, and bouncing off ideas that feel like something, that movement, could stay on beyond this.
What does victory look like?
"We progress, and others progress further after us to take it to a new level. What does victory look like? It is when communities take on things on their own. When other institutions take up the methodology, part of the NHS, part of the BBC in its interviewing and how it gives voice to others that maybe in the past were not listened to.
