I've been looking into this for my clients and all the experts are agreeing - in this subscription based economy we're living in 1-step is the way to go! People are paying monthly subscriptions for their tv, music, fitness, beauty, software, professional development, groceries and SO MUCH MORE. Remember chain letters & emails? The ones that told an urban legend or a shocking story and would strongly urge you to forward to 10 people or else suffer some terrible consequence? Well this is *kinda* like that but instead of the scary end part, the result is positive community impact. Maine Needs is a community funded effort. Last year, 81% of our funding came from you in the form of $5 monthly donations, small & large one-time gifts, lemonade stand sales, fundraisers, and everything in between. From now until the end of the year, we're trying to reach 1,000 supporters for our Capacity Campaign; our first big fundraiser. We're asking you to give whatever you can and to SHARE to your stories & feed and to TAG friends and family who can also give. Giving to this campaign is a way to stay connected to and involved in this community effort. Sure, we could go find large amounts of funding elsewhere but isn't it more meaningful to see what's possible when we all dig in and show up for one another?
