We are watching YOU, and we need to be assured that: As our rider, YOU can get us safely to our dream destination. Just as an example, imagine meeting a lady named Irene Nzula , a Social Media/Brand Manager Consultant, and you decide to DM her for the services she offers. Why? Because you have seen how she loves herself and her brand, believing she can deliver. That's why it gives you hope that she can do the same for other brands. So please start with self-love and belief. The rest will follow. "I BRAND YOU" ❤️ Notice what I did there? 😉 Have a blessed week ahead. #SelfLove #SocialMediamagement #BrandManagement #AshiaBrandConsultants

Are you sitting with the wedding party? Or with the drunk uncles? That is: do you wanna do a “collab"? Any partnership - “collab” or classic sponsorship - is an exchange of equity between two brands. Could be a great idea. Could also be a disaster. How is one to know? I ask two questions. First: If we were both invited to a wedding, what table would I sit at and where would my partner sit? Am I with the college friends? The young cousins? The aunts and uncles? The island of misfits with the bride’s mom’s work friends? If we aren’t sat together, we aren’t going to be a good hang. Ideally, you want a partnership of equals. You share similarly-minded consumers. You can trade email lists. You can build on your base. If I’m with the high school friends and I don’t share your teen traumas, it’s not going to be all that fun. If Im with the Aunties and I had my mind set on crushing the open bar, you’re going to hear about it at brunch the next day. Second: At this wedding, is one of you on the dais and one of you over by the bathroom with an estranged uncle? Yikes. If you’re on the dais and your “partner” is at the kids table, you’re doing the work here. You not only don’t share similar values, you bring a massively different level of prestige to the party. (Conversely, if you are the one at the kids table and your “partner” is on the dais… nice work. You just got an extra dessert.) It appears to me that these tie ups are more popular than ever (no data here, just a feeling). There are some misses: sorry Sprite, but TicTacs?? WTF? And some ones that I love. Mazel to Fly by Jing and Fishwife. A perfect wedding date. Any partnerships you love? Hate? Do you have different rules?

Director | Local Marketing | Specialist Marketing Support & Services For Funeral Directors, Celebrants & Other End Of Life Businesses.
How was your weekend? What did you do? Now that I work from home, I miss the Monday morning chats with colleagues... asking questions and about weekend activities, and listening to answers full with recommendations of things to do and places to visit. ❔ Asking questions is a great way to spark conversations, and it's also a valuable technique for social media marketing. So, I challenge you all to ask a question on your social media this week to engage with your audience. Here are a few examples of questions you can ask to connect with your community: 🌿 What one question would you like to ask a funeral director? 🌿Would you rather have a traditional wooden coffin or one that’s a bit different? How about wicker, colourful, or cardboard? 🌿True or false? Coffins are reused and recycled. 🌿What songs would you like played at your funeral? Or, you can ask questions that connect you to your local area and local people: 🌿What is your favourite place to visit locally for some peace and quiet? 🌿What job did you always want to do? And did you do it? 🌿What’s your morning routine? Asking questions is one of the best ways to increase your engagement on social media and reach more people in your community. So go ahead and ask some questions this week. Let's get the conversation started! #SocialMediaMarketingTips #SocialMediaMarketingForFuneralDirectors #FuneralMarketing #FuneralHomeMarketing #FuneralIndustry #FuneralDirectors #FuneralMarketingClub #AvensMarketing Avens Marketing

Become more interesting than Netflix | Keynote Speaker & Storytelling Coach | Attract your ideal clients and grow your business through the power of storytelling | Host of The Storypowers Podcast
It’s my best friend’s wedding, and my wife has never been so scared in her life. “Are you sure you want to go? I’d understand if you didn’t.” “It’s your best friend’s wedding, we can’t not go.” “Given what’s happening, she’d understand.” “Yeah, I know that, but I think I need to stay busy or this will drive me crazy.” “Ok, let’s go then.” So we go, and we have a lot of fun. We look pretty good too 😉 But what no one at the wedding knows is that while the vows are being exchanged, my sister-in-law’s brain operation is just starting. When guests are drinking and enjoying their meal, we are waiting for updates. Everyone hits the dance floor, and we are still waiting for updates. As the celebrations start winding down, we still haven’t heard anything. We make our way back to our hotel with everyone else, and that’s when we get the news: She has died. Twice. Through some miracle, though, the doctors managed to bring her back both times. You can’t tell that from this picture. Even if you were there, you wouldn’t have noticed something was wrong. That’s what we often do: we hide our worst pains and fears - even to when they’re hurting us. The same happens if you’re a leader, a parent, a partner or a friend. When it comes to the people you care about, the people who count on you, please remember: Don’t judge a book by its cover. Don’t be fooled by what your eyes want to see: that everyone is happy Make an effort to get the real story inside. Go a layer deeper. In a world where everyone’s calendars are full and we automatically say “I’m fine” (whether it’s true or not), that can make all the difference in the world. *** PS.
