As a nation and as a leader in the global arena, I cannot overstate enough the critical importance of our Nation being able to close with and destroy the enemy using the existing tools of warfare... however, we must also be able to iterate faster and force multiply a leaner force through precision data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. We must do both.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the rapid speed of technological change in today's world?
Do you struggle to keep up with the flow of information about how advancements in artificial intelligence affect you and the things you hold dear?
If so, you're not alone. And that's why I'm inviting you on a journey to...A.I.sland 😜 (It's a slightly different kind of workshop).
Inspired by some fascinating conversations I've recently had with Marc Winn, I want to hold space for us to explore our understanding of and relationship with A.I. technology.
It's for gentle rebels, sensitive types, and those who prefer to pause and reflect before diving head-first into new things. This gathering offers a space to untangle the complexities of AI without the chaotic noise of mainstream discourse.
Coming together alongside like-spirited people is a great way to share in our collective wisdom and find hope and encouragement as we imagine and welcome new landscapes of possibility for the future on OUR terms. And to more confidently know whether and how we want to engage with, respond to, and hold these aspects of our changing world.
No matter your experience with or attitude towards AI, your voice is valuable and necessary as we move into these changing landscapes together. I’d love you to join us if you’re around!

Will there be a place for people in the job market? The most asked question when it comes to AI. So stay curious and listen to the latest episode of the WIRED Beyond AI podcast.
Imagine factories and offices where humans and machines work together, with AI automating repetitive tasks and freeing us up for creative and strategic tasks. The nature of work is already changing.
Unique human abilities such as solving complex problems even in physical work or social intelligence are likely to be sought after. The ability to adapt, learn and think critically will be a key differentiator. Tadahiro Kawada the President and Representative Director of leading Japanese robot manufacturers KAWADA ROBOTICS CORPORATION, who sees collaborative robots as the key to increasing human efficiency, and Yuri van Geest, initiator of the global Social Cohesion solution movement, will share their thoughts.
