CEO & Co-Founder at Cordial

Since its release, I have been reflecting on Forrester’s ESP Wave report, and wanted to share my personal thoughts on the commentary that I have seen so far. First, we should address the elephant in the room. I've seen posts suggesting a "pay-to-play" model. Let me be clear: our success isn't about deep pockets or influence over the process. Like many, our budgets are often a fraction of what Salesforce, Adobe, and Oracle invest. The truth is, we don't need to pay for what marketers already know and what industry trends clearly show—there's growing frustration with outdated legacy systems. These systems are holding brands back, stifling potential, and ultimately impacting top & bottom lines. To that end, one data point from the Wave that can often be overlooked is that nearly all of the legacy providers in this study scored a 1 out of 5 on "pricing flexibility & transparency". Frankly, that's the exact opposite of what brands and marketers need from their partners now and into the future. The email marketing landscape is evolving once again, and we're proud to be at the forefront of this change. I like to say we're going "Robin Hood" on legacy providers because we're redistributing value to brands that are ready to trade in the status quo. Cordial is delivering sophisticated enterprise capabilities that outperform, backed by our expert services teams that partner with our clients to maximize their adoption to get maximum results. I'm immensely proud of the Cordial team - specifically, Anthony Chiulli, Matt Colla, Matt Howland, and our entire product & engineering team for building the best damn product! I feel immense pride to put my own reputation on the line every day representing Cordial's platform & team. To my fellow industry leaders: let's celebrate the hard work behind these achievements. It's time to acknowledge the changing landscape and the value that next-generation platforms bring to the table. The category is indeed transforming rapidly, and we at Cordial are excited to be riding this wave. 🌊 #MarTech #EmailMarketing

Jeremy Swift - your team and you should be especially proud of the recognition captured in this sentence: "Cordial’s vision to “build technology that helps marketers send a better message” stands out for its focus on kindness, authenticity, respect, and accountability instead of market valuation." Congratulations to you all - wonderful to read your accomplishment as reflected in this latest Forrester EMS wave.

Amazing progress! Well done and keep the great work rolling. Congratulations #teamcordial
